The Cross for the Joy
The celebration of Christ’s death and resurrection combines joy and suffering—which seem like two opposites. But Christ’s own example teaches us that joy and suffering are not mutually exclusive, and that joy transcends sorrow and pain.
A Season of Love
Christmas is most of all a season of love, a celebration of the love of Christ shown by His choosing to come to earth, choosing to humble Himself and take on human flesh. But as wonderful as the manger is, it is only a small piece of the grand display of the love of God for us.
The Good Shepherd and the Lamb of God
The Bible’s description of Jesus as the Good Shepherd, and also as the Lamb of God are commonly talked about, but together, they create a fuller picture of Christ than we often realize.
