Hope for the Next Generation
This is my 16th year as an elementary teacher, and it sometimes astounds me to think just how much our world has changed. Young people have so many more voices to sort through now as they grow and mature, and it can be easy to feel like it’s a losing battle. But there is hope for the next generation, and those yet to come—and you and I have the opportunity to be a part of God’s working.
Knowing and Delighting
In Christianity, it is sometimes easier to know about God than to really know Him. This week, I’ve been pondering the connection between knowing God and delighting in Him, and in the things He Himself delights in.
Still Waters
The Lord is our Shepherd, and He leads us beside the still waters. It is easy for us to neglect rest, to value motion and activity over time spent being still before the Lord. So, what do the "still waters" mean for us today?
